Wood Block Puzzle Challenge

Description
Fitting Blocks, Clearing Lines
Wood Block Puzzle Challenge asks you to place wooden block shapes onto a grid. Each shape is dragged from below the board and dropped into an empty space. When a horizontal or vertical line fills completely, it vanishes, points are awarded, and room opens up for new placements. The session continues until no remaining block can fit anywhere on the grid. That single rule drives every decision: where to put a block now to keep future options alive.
Timed Versus Classic Play
The game offers four modes, including a classic version with no time pressure and timed variants that demand quicker choices. In classic mode, you can study the grid and plan several moves ahead. Timed modes push you to place blocks fast while still watching for line clears. Some modes introduce special blocks that change how you approach the board. The drag-and-drop controls work with both touchscreens and a mouse, and visual cues show where a block will land before you release it.
Wooden Look, Quiet Sound
A warm wooden aesthetic defines the presentation. The blocks and grid share a natural, uncluttered look, and the gentle background music and sound effects support a calm atmosphere. Nothing flashes or demands attention. This visual and audio restraint makes the game comfortable for short breaks or longer sessions, and it runs offline, so travel or spotty connections are not a problem.
Scoring and Replay
Points come from cleared lines, and the game tracks your high score over time. That number is the main measure of progress. Because the board fills unpredictably, no two sessions play the same. The challenge is not speed alone but pattern recognition: spotting which lines are close to completion and which blocks to save for later. Regular play sharpens that skill, and the high-score display gives a clear target to beat.
